Support CSPI with a gift through your IRA

For CSPI supporters age 70.5 or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA presents a powerful way to support our health and nutrition advocacy, all while receiving great tax benefits. Whether or not you itemize deductions, a QCD from your IRA is always tax-free.

Step 1

Provide the following information to your IRA administrator to ensure your gift is properly credited:

Please ask your administrator to include your name and contact information. This helps CSPI acknowledge your gift and provide documentation you may need for tax purposes.

Step 2

Please contact Tom Schloegel at giftplan@cspi.org to alert CSPI of your intentions (or to ask any questions). This also helps ensure acknowledgement and tax documentation.
