Dr. Kate Hanson is a mom, scientist, and advocate working to end child hunger in North Carolina. Kate's home and work life is filled with the gifts of having a big family, living close to extended family, living in a state with incredible local farmers and local food systems, and working with families and partners across NC from the mountains to the coast.
